Meet Conan & Her Six Kittens
Six kittens arrived on a Saturday morning in late February. Their mother—a diluted tortoiseshell community cat named Conan—delivered them in a nest she built herself. At approximately 25 days old, all six were transferred to a rescue in San Diego. This is who they are. Let’s meet the cats!
Conan (Mama Cat)
Conan showed up on February 10, 2026. She was pregnant, cautious, and completely self-possessed. She trusted slowly—food first, then presence, then proximity. She gave birth to six kittens on February 28th and cared for them without any help from me. She is the reason this site exists.
