Who is Clyde?

Clyde started attempting to escape the nest box almost immediately after his eyes opened. This was not a one-time event. This was a sustained campaign. He is a physically bold cat who seems to experience the world primarily through movement; he investigates by going there, tests limits by exceeding them, and communicates mostly through action.

Since arriving at Tiny Kitten Coven, the fuller picture of who Clyde is has come into focus. Underneath all that energy is a genuinely sweet and loving boy. He is vocal; he will tell you things, at length—and he means it affectionately. He has also shown something that sets him apart from his siblings: he is welcoming to new kittens. He doesn’t posture or compete. He just makes room.

Escape attempts began almost immediately after eye opening. Though he doesn’t exhibit any outlaw behavior—quite the opposite actually—he was named correctly.

Clyde is active and vocal. He engages with his environment fully and will let you know how he feels about it. Environmental enrichment matters to him, but so does connection. He’s not restless for the sake of it.

The rescue describes him as a sweet and loving boy—and that tracks! His boldness was always paired with affection. He approaches people with warmth, not just curiosity, and that makes a real difference in how he settles into a home.
